          Sabi ni Kotz Frans nung Monday, we are backed in a corners kaya kailangan meron kaming bagong gameplan for game 2.  Pikunin daw namin sila, asar-asarin basta kahit anong trashtalk para mawala consentrasion nila ...lalo na yang si Rabeh Al-Sashimi saka si Chris Tiu.  Sabi ko nga, "Kotz, how can we trashtalks Chris Tiu?  Meron bang mapipintas sa kanya?  And I doesn't know how to spokening Chinese."  Hindi sumagot si Kotz, nagtinginan lang sila ni Assistant Kotz Jack tapos parehong umiling.  I dont understood why.

          Bumulong sa akin si Jayvee.  Tigilan ko na raw yung mga inane na hirit ko kasi yun daw ang reason kung bakit hindi ako sinasama sa pers five ni Kotz.  Paano nangyari yun, eh di ko nga alam ibig sabihin ng "inane".  Tinanong ko si Walsham kung ano ang "inane".  Sabi niya yun daw ang kunuku...

First day, after lunch na ako nakapunta dahil may exam ako sa chencal ng 9-12. So lunch time na naabutan namin. after lunch break, nagstart na ang parallel sessions. First choice namin, Genuin Engineering something. i forgot it's complete name. Basta all about eng'g in all fields. Second choice was Life Cycle Assessment, it's related to thermodynamics field which is a requirement to Chemical Engineering degree (our field). So yun, yung second choice namin, hindi ko namalayan nakatulog na pala ako nun. HAHAHA! kasi super inaantok ako and even sa first choice namin, inantok din ako nun. tapos masama pa pakiramdam ko. so yun. Pero sa dalawang yun, the second was better and livelier. Kasi nagk...

Matiwasay na binuksan ang University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) Season 71 Men's Senior Basketball noong ikaanim ng Hulyo sa Araneta Coliseum. Sa nasabing pagbubukas ng torneo sa may temang Filipino leadership thrue sports excellence, ipinakita ang iba't ibang kultura ng Pilipino, mula sa tradisyunal nating mga sayaw at laro. Ngunit tila kabaliktaran ang naging pagtatapos nito noong ika-25 ng Setyembre nang mabalot sa iba't ibang kontrobersya ang Game 2 Finals na pinagwagian ng Ateneo de Manila University (ADMU) Blue Eagles kontra De La Salle University (DLSU) Green Archers. Marami ang nagduda lalo na ang mga Lasalyano kung bakit tila hindi patas ang mga tawag na ipinataw ng mga referee kaya naging ganoon ang resulta ng laban. Ito ang mga isyung hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa nahahanapan ng kasagutan. Nakamit nina Charles Edric Co, Erwin de Jesus, Loren Palero, at Louie Shieh, mga mag-aaral mula sa Chemical Engineering Department ng DLSU ang unang puwesto sa Inter-University Chemical Engineering Quiz Show na ginanap noong Agosto 23 sa University of the Philippines-National Institue of Science and Mathemaatics Education. Nagsilbing tagapagsanay ng nasabing pangkat si Engr. Teddy Monroy, pakultad ng Chemical Engineering Department ng Pamantasan.

Sa kabilang banda, naiuwi naman ng Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila ang ikalawang pwesto habang ikatlong pwesto naman ang nakuha ng Adamson University. Ilan sa mga asignaturang kasama sa nasabing kompetisyon ang General Engineering, Chemical Engineering at Physical and Chemical Principles.

our first subject was CHENCAL (chemical eng'g calculations) which supposed to be @ 0830-0930. But our prof wasn't able to come. So we had to leave the classroom. why am i complaining? because my next class is at 1440! GOSH! natulog na lang sana ako di ba. hindi sana ako gumising pa nang super aga para lang pumasok. Sir belo (our prof) will be defending his thesis in his master's degree in chem eng this coming friday. EA, let's pray for him! :)

GRABE! i arrived home @ 0945pm grabe talaga! until 0730pm kasi class ko, then i proceeded to Band room (ng pops orchestra), to attend the practice for the art in action this coming 17 october '08. All of the DLSU cultural arts musical groups (Chamber ensemble, pops, chorale and innersoul) were also there to practice our pieces for the said event. natapos kami by 0920pm. kahit hindi ako nakatugtog sa practice due to lacking of practice for my pieces (dahil sa dami ng majors ko, and wala nang time halos para practisin pieces ko), kapagod pa rin. syempre, ako tagalipat ng pages ng mga tinugtog ni laarni :)) ang super lamig pa sa band room. haay buhay! next week na 'to! gabi na naman ako uuwi next thursday :|

Dahil ba sa takot na baka sigawan ka at pagtawanan ka ng mga officers? Baka mahirapan ka morning exercises na pinapagawa sayo? Baka panay lalaki ang mga kasama mo?

Kung iyon ang iniisip mo, nagkakamali ka roon!

Ang ROTC sa De La Salle University ay parang laro-laro lang. Nagkakaroon ng bonding sa mga tao-tao doon. May tsansa ka pang magkaroon ng kakilala hindi lang sa mga tao sa college mo, kung di sa ibang colleges din. Pero pag seryoso, marunong din magseryoso ang mga tao dito.

Ano bang mapapala mo pag nag-ROTC ka?

 De La Salle University announces the closure of the campus from June 4 to 14, 2009 in view of its first confirmed case of the Influenza A N1H1 virus. Based on existing Department of Health Guideline on A (H1N1) in schools, DLSU will reopen on June 15.

The case is a female foreign student who arrived in the country on May 12. DOH confirmed today, June 3, that the student contracted the virus.

The student has been admitted in a healthcare facility and is being closely monitored by medical practitioners.

DLSU officials have met with DOH Secretary Dr. Francisco T. Duque III and are closely coordinating with other Department of Health key personnel regarding the case.

Tito Glenn and Tita Jean were 3rd cousins. They met each other when they were in elementary. They started having mutual understanding when they were in high school. Tita Jean said that Tito Glenn started courting on that time. They lived in in 1985 for 9 years. They get married on June 10, 1999.


Since they were relatives, they consulted a priest if they could marry each other or is it against the law if they marry. The church actually allows marrying a couple who are distant relatives like Tito Glenn and Tita Jean. The church checked if they really are 3rd cousins. Good thing, they were able to marry each other. According to Tito Glenn, living in for 9 years was a trial or a test for them if their relationship will last. But since Tito Glenn realized that Tita Jean was really the one for him as well as Tita Jean to him, they decided to get married.
